We love our pets! We spend time with them, talk to them, take their pictures (over and over again). It can be incredibly fun and rewarding to draw or paint them as well. Even creating a portrait of a pet that is no longer with us can be a tender experience that brings happy memories.
Begin by learning techniques for a variety of textures such as long and short fur, wet noses and smooth or bumpy scales. Apply what you learn using pictures of your own with individual guidance and instructor support. Draw or paint your pet in the medium of your choice.

Instructor: Lisa Larrabee
Format: Lecture & demonstration, studio practice with individual feedback, and one-on-one instruction.
Level: All levels are welcome! No prior experience necessary.
Medium: Open to any drawing or painting medium
Technique: Draw or paint from a photo using a variety of techniques to create visual textures.
Materials: The instructor will email the materials list before the first day of class.
