Discover the joy of colored pencil on toned paper. Experiment with expressive color, texture, and blending, in a relaxed, supportive environment. We'll cover basic materials for using this medium with some simple step by step projects designed to help you work with shape and color. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn.

Format: Demonstration, studio practice with one-on-one instruction.
Level: No experience necessary. All levels are welcome!
Medium: Colored pencils, Conte pencils, or Watercolor or ink pencils are also welcome!
Technique: Blending and texture on toned paper.
Materials: Bring some basic drawing materials to take notes. Bring any colored pencils supplies that you already own.
