Light is what brings a painting to life. In this three-day acrylic workshop, you'll learn how to see and paint the subtle effects of light through guided demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and a finished painting of your choice. Explore how value, color, and layering create depth, mood, and dimension while gaining confidence with acrylic painting in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Instructor: Summyr Lynn
Format: Demonstration, studio practice with one-on-one instruction.
Level: No experience necessary. All levels are welcome!

Technique: Introduction to acrylic painting techniques
Materials: The instructor will email the materials list before the first day of class. Note that painters must use drop cloths over tabletops and scrape unused paint into the trash can before cleaning brushes.
