Join us as we dive deep into color. If you are drawn to intense or expressive color but hesitate to make those decisions, this class will teach you some simple steps to successfully work through the process from start to finish.

Jump in with bold color choices and turn your colorful studies into beautiful, dynamic paintings. Learn specific techniques that will give you the confidence to harness the power of color in your art.

Meets: Thursday Mornings, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Dates: Feb. 1, 8, & 15
Location: B.Marie's Atelier & Gallery located in the Bring's Historic Building,
236 S. Scott Ave., Suite 300, Tucson, Arizona 85705

Instructor: Lisa Larrabee
Format: Lecture & demonstration, studio practice with individual feedback, and one-on-one instruction.
Level: Beginners with some prior experience, intermediate or advanced, are welcome!

Medium: Open to any medium. Studies may be done in pastels or colored pencils. Demonstrations will be in oil or acrylic.
Technique: Build a path from color studies to finished paintings.
Materials: The instructor will email the materials list before the first day of class. Note that painters must use drop cloths over tabletops. Oil painters are specifically required to use Gamsol or odorless mineral spirits & dispose of their oily rags in a flammable waste can.
