Guided Studio Projects: Inspired by 20th Century Masters (Feb. 2017)

Ideal for art lovers, museum-goers, and artists of any skill level who seek to expand their knowledge of artistic styles to find their creative pathway or unique "visual voice!."

Forbidden Fruit Picker by Wangechin Mutu (The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston)

Inspiring artistic styles presenting within an engaging studio setting, where participants will complete their art projects each session under individual or one-on-one instruction, using past art styles as a creative springboard for their own artwork and/or for an added dimension in appreciating art.

This series covers the Abstract Expressionism, Fauvism, & Futurism movements, taught by instructor Linda Chappel, who has 15+ years of teaching college-level Art History combined with her own active studio art practice.
