Drawing is challenging but a skill that can be developed like any other. It requires patience, practice, and keen observation skills. Learn how to objectively measure shapes and the value relationships needed to create a convincing illusion of light and form.
Surprisingly, the process of moving charcoal around is similar to painting. Developing a piece from general to specific will improve your painting and composition skills. Everyone will be met where they are and will receive the individual instruction needed to improve. No drawing experience is needed. Try something new or hone your skills to take your artwork to the next level.
