Rust Indigo & Tea Dyeing Papers (Apr. 2022)

Love the rich color combination of indigo and rust? Spend the day with an instructor who will demonstrate dyeing techniques, encourage you to play, and allow you to enjoy a process that will get you up and running in no time. Discover how to use old rusted objects to create beautiful shapes or edges.

Create incredible organic patterns and learn shibori folding techniques using pleating, clamps, or rubber bands to resist other dye colors. Use your end-of-the-day creations as backgrounds for other art pieces or collage elements, or they may turn out to be individual works all on their own. No experience is necessary. Simply be open to exploring various new tools or innovative approaches.
