Drawing: A Visual Vocabulary
(Jan. 2017)

Expand your visual vocabulary with various drawing techniques that will improve how you communicate your message. Drawing includes the basic "vocabulary" of line, shape & value used to develop complex ideas into paintings, mixed media, sculpture, or works of art. In this class, you will explore a variety of drawing mediums, find out how to get the most out of your medium and experiment with each on a small scale.

Practice drawing from life, using preliminary sketches to clarify your ideas, and discover various new techniques. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a beginner, this class will improve your skills and build your visual vocabulary and confidence!
