Expand your visual vocabulary with various drawing techniques that will improve how you communicate your message. Drawing includes the basic "vocabulary" of line, shape & value used to develop complex ideas into paintings, mixed media, sculpture, or works of art. In this class, you will explore a variety of drawing mediums, find out how to get the most out of your medium and experiment with each on a small scale.
Practice drawing from life, using preliminary sketches to clarify your ideas, and discover various new techniques. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a beginner, this class will improve your skills and build your visual vocabulary and confidence!

Level: Absolute Beginner to Beginner. All levels are welcome!
Medium: Graphite, charcoal, sanguine, pen & ink, pastel
Technique: A variety of drawing medium techniques and preliminary sketches
Materials: All materials provided. Bring a sketchbook, notebook, or something to take notes on.
